at Kaunas University of Technology
Teaching, education and training in the fields of renewable
energy utilization and human factor. The basis for program "Lithuanian
Regional Solar Program and introducing them into World Solar Program"
1998-2005, supported by UNESCO is prepared. The main purpose of
this program is teaching, education, training and popularization of
renewable energy sources for B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. The project includes the
center, which is to be established at Kaunas University of Technology for
design, teaching, education, training, demonstration and popularization of
utilization of renewable energy sources with 10-12 work places of
structural realization of various renewable energy systems for teaching
education and research.
The Kaunas Regional Distant Education Study Center includes: 12 workplaces for professors with media and video players, satellite TV system, PC, the conference hall (110 seats) with PC net, multimedia projector, fax and phone, e-mail, FTP and WWW servers.
In the field of training of human factor by use teaching and education in renewable energy utilization area we seek to form harmoniously technical and humanistic rationalism in co-ordination with responsibility for the main values of life, such as responsibility for nature and ecology.
