The Research Group
of Renewable Energy Electrical Conversion (RGREEC)
at Kaunas University of Technology in Lithuania
RGREEC participates in research, teaching, education and commercial programs and projects mainly in the field of renewable energy conversion.
The research work is supported by the Research Foundation of Kaunas University of Technology (RF KUT), the Lithuanian State Foundation for Science and Studies (LSF SS), the European Union (EU), UNESCO and other institutions.
Main activities:
- Research, design and experimental manufacturing of converters for renewable energy sources and lasers.
- Measurement of solar energy space parameters and estimation of solar energy resources.
- Design and experimental manufacturing of equipment for solar energy monitoring, for testing of piranometers, PV modules and PV power supply sources.
- Teaching, education and training in the fields of renewable energy utilization and human factor.
