3. Demo Power Plants The demo projects included into World's Solar Program are valued as an important measure to expand the commercial exploitation of renewable energy. It is emphasized that such initiatives are most effective from economic point of view seeking to speed up the introduction of new technologies into market. The integration of renewable energy into the structure of national energetics becomes possible only having created favorable conditions for the investments to this sector of national economy. Therefore, the demo projects of full economic value should serve this purpose and draw the common investments of private sector, financial institutions and government.Another group of local demo projects should be concentrated in demo centers and integrated together with AE educational, consulting and information centers. Such integration would enable to effectively use both financial resources and specialists working in scientific and educational centers. At present, when implementing in the country the "Program of increase of efficiency of national energy consumption" there have been built a lot of demo objects related with renewable energetics (usage of wood, straw and biogas for fuel production as well as usage of hydroenergy for production of electricity). However, we do not have enough demo objects that are using solar, wind and geothermal energy. The demo photo-electric plants as well as windmill-electric generating and solar collector plants that are planned to build in accordance with the program will be not very powerful and mostly intended for individual users. First of all, it is provided for to build the plants in the demo and educational centers, then in particular regions of Lithuania and to perform real monitoring of their efficiency. It was proposed to produce the plants in the manufacturing companies of Lithuania. At present there are operating the bio-power plant of Vyčia pig-breeding farm and biogas power plants of Utena sewage-treatment station and Sema distillery. The efficiency of these relatively powerful plants depends to a great extent on successful economic activities of the objects served. To satisfy educational demands, it would be expedient to build a less powerful demo plant at one of the educational and consultation centers which would meet the requirements of farmers. In Lithuania there are built 6 individual geothermal plants the total capacity of which is 114 kW; there has been commenced the construction of the geothermal plant of Vydmantai in Kretinga region. The construction of Klaipėda's geothermal plant (40 MW) is coming to an end. Due to required big investments, the expediency of the construction of geothermal plant in Baisogala and that of Vilkaviskis balneological geothermal complex as well as the factory of biofuel and bio-oil production should be considered after the search of investors. The practice of developed countries shows that establishment of demo zones and parks as well as separate plants partly subsidized by the Government is the mandatory stage when seeking to implement and commercialize the renewable resources of energetics. In order to achieve the demo goals, the following measures are proposed in the national solar program of Lithuania :
